For me, growing my own food is satisfying and therapeutic. I take great pleasure in watching the food grow, even going so far as to enjoy the process of weeding. Some might find it relaxing, but to me, it's a kind of therapy. Growing my own food gives a taste that is hundreds, if not thousands, of times better than what you can find in the grocery store.

My journey with growing my own food began about 8-9 years ago when I started keeping chickens for the freshest and tastiest pastured eggs. Since then, I have been bringing food from my yard every day, rain or shine. A couple of weeks ago, I enjoyed an omelet with asparagus, both of which I had picked just an hour before.
